The warm sea air blowing through your hair, your lover in your arms, what else could you ask for? Many people think of romance when planning their cruise vacations. Here are some ideas for romance ideas when cruising.
Why not get engaged? There's nothing like "popping the question" in such a romantic setting. Many cruise lines have engagement packages that will allow you to propose to your loved one with various unique methods.
If you're already engaged, why not get married on a cruise ship? The benefits of getting married while cruising are that you do not have to plan meals, vacation packages or travel for your loved ones. However, you need to consider legal issues if you decided to get married at sea. Some foreign countries do not allow at-sea marriages or will count them "null". The same does not go for getting married at port. You can purchase specific wedding packages from your cruise line and prices range from a thousand dollars to $5,000. Wedding receptions are wonderful on a cruise ship because everything is already set up for you.
If you're already married, how about renewing your vows? Cruise ships are the perfect place to perform a renewal of vows. Many cruise ships have small chapels so that you can perform a renewal ceremony. Most times, a renewal of vows is performed by the ship's captain.
Remember, on your honey moon, you should take your marriage license or certificate. Honeymooning on international waters can be fun and enjoyable for both you and your loved one. Remember to check with your travel agent to obtain a larger bed or to book a better suite. Many people try to combine getting married AND having their honeymoon on their cruise vacation.
